Aduana Residence

The Aduana Residence is a Residential house renovation designed by BNY Arch that is inspired by a Modern-Minimalist type of architecture, particularly Japanese-Scandinavian or better known as "Japandi" design. The concept behind every element is to use 2 main materials; wood & concrete. A very open approach through the use of windows for natural light & brise soleil for shading.

This renovation project consists of 2 phases: Phase 1 (Facade) and Phase 2 (Sides and Interior). The 2 phases were divided in order to meet the client's current budget to make their house's facade look modern. Breeze blocks may look old, but if you give it to a skilled architect, it will be utilized efficiently for sun-wind balance and aesthetics.
